I promise! Don’t freak out!
I just decided to go back to my very old and well loved blog name.
Let me ‘splain:
When I first started blogging, back in the dark days, when we still had hamsters running in a wheel inside the computer to power them, I had a different blog!
A little corner on the WWW for myself and my weird little thoughts and my twisted sense of humour… nothing special, just to keep track of myself. I wrote about everything that came to mind. (and since my mind is uncluttered, it wasn’t much hahahaha)
After a few years, I caught the eye of the knitting world and I started to write patterns. Loads of fun and work.
I figured it would be good to have all that stuff in one place and *tadaaaa* Rambling Designs was born. I wanted to only write about my knitting and my patterns on that blog. And for a while I did…. then my discipline waned and I got sick of keeping up two blogs. Also more and more “personal” posts crept into the Rambling Designs blog. First I justified it with “I am just letting everybody know who I am”, then I had to be honest with myself and admit: I’m just too lazy to maintain three blogs! (I had one in German as well by then)
At the same time I had a few creeps following me on that very first blog. I had to make it private and by invitation only.
Well, that was a load of happy right there….
lets make a long story short and say: it wasn’t going to happen….. The old blog is now private and no longer for anybody to read, but it’s still there. I kept the name active…
I ditched the German blog as well and just wrote on the main Rambling Designs blog. Well… I was thinking lately, that I really miss my old blog name. I really miss the old “everything under the sun fits” format. (Really, honestly? You think I am still sort of all over the place? THIS IS ME TRYING TO STAY ON TOPIC actually! lol)
So, anyway. I talked to my husband and thought about it for a while, then I talked to my friend Elizabeth and it sort of all became clear.
I should go back…..
So I did…

That’s it…

(P.S. Everything will stay the same, so if you already subscribed, there is no reason to do it again, or change a bookmark, since I left the URL the same as before, just the title changed, is all)

ROFL. I don’t know that I would consider you “uncluttered” after that post, woman. LOL. Anyway, long as I can keep following you, I don’t care what the name is. hehe. Do we have to do anything to keep following? Re-follow? Change anything on our end? Let me know. Thanks!
Tehehehe.. nope for you guys it all stays the same. I didn’t change the URL , because I didn’t want to have to hassle you all with subscribing new. So the bookmarks , or subscriptions you have right now are good to go!

I agree….doesn’t matter what the name is, as long as your brilliant mind keeps sending you our way with all your creativity…You are a true friend, a joy to know and read….Wouldn’t know what to do if you cluttered your mind and didn’t share!!!! Love everything you have to say and am honored that you want to share ‘everything under the Sun with all of us.’ Thank you!!!!
