I just came up with this recipe this morning! I wanted to make lavender honey butter, but then saw the blackberries in my fridge, that my Daughter and I picked the other day. I wanted to make jam from them… but I took some and came up with this little delicious spread!
Ingredients:
6-9 blackberries (depending on size)
2 teaspoons honey
1 stick unsalted sweet cream butter
soften the butter, mix in the honey and pass the blackberries through a strainer (you can just mix them in the butter as they are, but I mind the seeds…) blend it all together, put it in the fridge for a bit until set and Voila! Breakfast spread! The kids and I love it!
ooer I have fresh raspberries.. wonder how that would work? yum!
I LOVE RASPBERRIES!!!! I think you HAVE to make some! 🙂
me too. hehe. I’m making a pot of bean soup today and some homemad4 bread. I think I HAVE to make some. lol. I’ll take piccies and post it.
Yes! YES! Pictures!!!! I haven’t been baking bread as often as I want to, but I bet it is delicious on fresh baked!
With thousands of blackberries on the brambles here, I’m doing this!! Mark loves honey, so it’s a win-win!
